The whole point of the legalization movement is that there is absolutely no sane reason to have to get a "medical" card for something that should already be legal and available for responsible use by adults who are perfectly capable of making their own decisions about what to put into their own bodies and shouldn't have to cow before a government full of hypocrites who treat them like children and make it against the law to do otherwise.

Alcohol is a far more damaging drug that kills thousands every year in a variety of ways yet is perfectly legal for anyone over 21 to purchase and abuse.

Medical marijuana is still technically illegal according to the federal government so "just getting a card" doesn't even solve that problem.

Plus, calling a music legend a douche bag shows who the real douche nozzle here is. (That would be you if you're still struggling with the mental puzzle.)

Clever user-name, btw. Do you also end every argument you lose by saying "says you!" before storming off to your parent's basement and writing more hate mail?

I read somewhere that he does have a card but that does not help you in Texas. Also weed is not legal anywhere in the world, just tolerated. But something has to give way to much $$$$ and resources not to mention the impact on people's lives over a herb. Kinda agree on the driving seems like if your baked not like being drunk and driving, But on the other hand a newbie smoker could have some serious impairments and being impaired is still impaired etc.. But if you had a test how long would you have to wait to drive?
